The Glendale Meadows Community Association operates as a dedicated volunteer-led organization under the guidance of the GGMCA Board of Directors. Community members volunteer their time which greatly contributes to the well-being of the community. The Glendale Community volunteers help with various activities, whether assisting with event coordination, facilitating community resources, directing traffic, neighbourhood cleanup, or managing facilities for the residents. 

The community puts together a monthly newsletter, Glendale Thumper, which is free for the residents in the community, and covers local news, events, and real estate statistics.

Transportation in Glendale

Glendale residents have access to Calgary Transit bus routes 6, 9, 22, 93, 306, 697, 699, and 894. The closest LRT station would be 45th Street West. A trip to downtown Calgary would take about 25 minutes using public transit.

Glendale is east of Sarcee Trail and Signal Hill and west of 37 Street SW and Killarney.

Hospitals and Clinics Serving Glendale

Glendale is about a 15 minute drive from Rockyview General Hospital, Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre and Alberta Health Services. Nearby access to medical clinics and specialty health clinics are also available.

Residents have immediate access to veterinarian clinics such as the Westland Veterinary Hospital and Signal Hill Animal Clinic.
